When we first started Valleyview Gourmet Treat Shop we were breeding the Pomeranian and very new to it at that. Our first litter was born on my fiancée’s birthday and we were blessed with two little orange males. The fiancée had her heart set on keeping Cocoa, the runt of the litter. Little did we know that 10 weeks later God would put another plan into motion for Cocoa. Cocoa was sent to a town in Central Newfoundland to befriend a little girl who was fighting a battle with brain cancer. We recently learned that the little girl lost her battle with cancer and Cocoa was there through every step of her battle and helped to make her smile.
My fiancée decided to come up with a way for Treat Shop to continue to make a difference in people’s lives and we created Paws in Need. As pet owners we understand the unconditional love that our furry friends provide. They really do leave paw prints on our hearts. However, we also realize that sometimes unforeseen circumstances happen that we have no control over and our furry friends count on us to make it better. Paws in Need is dedicated to helping pets and their families that may have to come up against unforeseen obstacles. For every online purchase we will donate $2.00 to our Paws in Need to help our furry friends.
We would like to introduce you to our furry friend Rosie who resides in Twillingate with Jennifer, one of our very own Sales Reps. Rosie is a beautiful loving Shih Tzu who was born with a Luxating Patalla and needs to have a surgery which is pretty costly. Help us raise the money so Rosie can have her surgery and live the normal life she deserves.
